FALL RIVER, Mass. – Southcoast Health today unveiled 48 new recliners to be used its patient rooms at Charlton Memorial Hospital. The recliners were purchased with a $120,000 donation made by the Auxiliary of Charlton Memorial Hospital.

“We are proud to support Southcoast Health by providing a new level of comfort to Charlton Memorial Hospital patients,” said Auxiliary President Louise McCarthy. “In addition to the recliners being used by patients, guests will be able to rest comfortably when visiting a family member in need of their support.”

At a small ceremony on April 10, Representative Carole Fiola presented the Auxiliary with a citation from the State House in recognition for their commitment to the community.
