Southcoast Hospitals welcomes New Year’s babies at all three sites
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – The first New Year’s baby born in the South Coast region arrived at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River at 1:54 a.m. on January 1, 2014.
Cindy and Joseph Stephens, of Berkley, had a baby girl, Evan Stephens, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 19.7 inches long. This is the couple’s fourth child.
St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford welcomed its baby at 8:37 a.m. on January 1, 2014.
Yelitza Rivera and Ian Aresta, of New Bedford, had a baby boy, Dominic Aresta, weighing 7 pounds, 1 ounce and 20.5 inches long. This is the couple’s second child.
Tobey Hospital in Wareham welcomed baby New Year at 4:20 p.m. Brittany and Clint Broesch, of Buzzards Bay, had a baby girl, Jayden, weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounce and 20 inches long. This is the couple’s first child.
All three Southcoast Hospitals’ New Year’s babies will receive gift baskets filled with baby toys and clothes donated by the St. Luke’s & Charlton Auxiliaries and the Tobey Hospital Guild.
