Southcoast Health welcomes Mariel Del Rio-Cadorette, MD
Mariel Del Rio-Cadorette, MD, an internal medicine physician with a subspecialty in infectious diseases, has joined Southcoast Health.
As a member of Southcoast Physicians Group, Dr. Del Rio-Cadorette will practice at Southcoast Health Internal Medicine at Truesdale Health in Fall River and have admitting privileges at all Southcoast Health hospitals: Charlton Memorial Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital and Tobey Hospital.

Dr. Del Rio-Cadorette speaks Spanish and has practiced medicine in Peru, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Southcoast Physicians Group, she was the medical director at the Abundant Hope/Attleboro Women’s Center in Attleboro, and an internal medicine and infectious diseases physician at Prime Medical Associates in North Dartmouth.
Dr. Del Rio-Cadorette earned her medical degree from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. She completed her internal medicine residency and her infectious disease fellowship at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. Additionally, she completed clerkships in internal medicine and hematology at Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami School of Medicine.
Dr. Del Rio-Cadorette is a member of the Peruvian Medical Association and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Infectious Diseases, and her clinical interests include acute bacterial infections, HIV and Hepatitis C.
