However, she never considered a career in healthcare until she was cared for as a patient at Southcoast Health’s Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.  

“During that time in my life, I received exceptional care by everyone at Southcoast Health and realized I wanted to be a part of this organization,” she says.

Lori first joined Southcoast 29 years ago, and today she works as a practice manager making sure we provide the best care and service possible to our patients and community.

In this role, Lori helps support our patients and providers by managing schedules and identifying access for appointments. She also helps patients navigate the healthcare system by helping them find answers to their questions about medications, insurance, referrals and transportation.

Throughout her career here, Lori has learned that actively listening to each patient’s story can help the care team ensure they are meeting their individual needs. She shared that she is continually impressed with the way that Southcoast Health and the community pull together to support each other and our patients.

“It is incredible to see how everyone works together behind the scenes to provide the best possible care. Over the last 29 years, I’ve met some amazing people and built strong relationships. I find it to be an honor and a privilege to be a part of this organization. Not only am I blessed to live next to so much culture and history, but I have access to the best healthcare, and I am able to help others access it as well,” she says.
