Beginning in early 2020, the Southcoast Health Emergency Departments were faced with the uncertainty and urgency of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our essential medical professionals and support staff remained vigilant, prepared, and nimble to keep our community safe in the face of grave threats to public health.

The Emergency Department Teams Remind You to Stay Safe

In honor of the many selfless contributions our emergency department teams have made, we ask those in the community to protect yourself and others by getting vaccinated.

Currently the South Coast region ranks near the bottom in vaccination rates, despite there still being hospitalizations. Walk-ups are welcome at our vaccine clinics and you do not need a Southcoast primary care provider. Vaccination is safe, effective and free.
