Portsmouth, R.I. — Southcoast Health announced today that Marina Dupree, MD, Family Medicine physician, has joined Southcoast Physicians Group, and will be seeing patients at 2444 East Main Street in Portsmouth, R.I.

Dr. Dupree received her medical doctorate degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Wash. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners – Michigan State University Program in Grand Rapids, Mich.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is board certified in Family Medicine. She is fluent in Spanish and served as a medical interpreter prior to medical school. Her clinical interests include all areas of family practice in particular women’s health and pediatrics. She believes that trust is the cornerstone of the patient/physician relationship and strives to perform excellent patient-centered care.

Originally from Sonoma, Calif., Dr. Dupree enjoys living in Portsmouth, R.I. with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running and being with family.
