Dr. Rapoport is Chief of Rheumatology. He is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Rapoport earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and will see patients at 1030 President Avenue in Fall River.
His main areas of focus include the variousarthritidies such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthristis, gout, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis as well as osteoporosis. He was an intern and junior resident at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. He completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in rheumatology at The Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Rapoport is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He is a member the National Osteoporosis Foundation, and the Fall River Medical Society. His past publications have focused on the management of acute pain, and the treatment of osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
He is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and of ABIM (subspecialty of rheumatology), and a certified clinical densitometrist.
