About Patrick Kelty

Dr. Kelty received his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University, School of Medicine.

He completed a surgical internship with the National Naval Medical Center where he also completed a residency in urology.

He has special interests in male and female incontinence, perineal surgery and prostatectomy, kidney stone disease and kidney tumors.

Dr. Kelty has extensive experience with male slings for incontinence procedures.

Dr. Kelty is a member of the American Urological Association and American Society for Lasers in Medicine. He served as president of the RI Urologic Society and was previously a clinical assistant professor of Urology and Surgery at Brown University Medical School.

Dr. Kelty is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology.

[Name] at check out could be a little nicer and friendlier. Maybe look at the patients when checking them out and maybe not have an attitude and actually offer an a.v.s instead of saying your all set!!! I sent my son who has high functioning autism in to his appt alone and he didn't check out I asked him he said she didn't even look up at him so he left. I went in with him to check out and same thing she didnt even look at us !! It is ok to be a little friendly/nice to people especially if you chose a position dealing with the public!!

My urologist takes the time to ask me all of the correct questions. Making sure that I understand any health issues or concerns that I may have and explains my options on how to address and deal with the situation. Oh, I've always been treated great in there. Receptionists, you name it. Nurses, the doctors, and anytime I need them, they always gave me an appointment and I got what I needed and I got taken care of right away. You can't beat these guys. They are great. The main receptionist at Dr. Kelty's office was nasty, rude, and abrasive over the phone and it was so bad I almost considered not going back. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Who receives the survey?

Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
