About Noreen Flynn

Noreen Flynn attended Emmanuel College in Boston, MA where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Noreen then furthered her knowledge and expertise by earning a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her clinical interests include general gastroenterology care.

Growing up in New Bedford, Noreen was aware of the healthcare disparities that existed in the city and in the greater community. She was driven by the desire to provide quality health services for the region. She decided to join Southcoast Health to contribute to the mission of providing excellent and well-rounded care for patients and the community.

When not at work caring for her patients, Noreen enjoys baking, eating delicious food, and maintaining a balanced life by keeping active and playing field hockey.

Everything went well. Noreen called me exactly at the time of my appointment. She's always been understanding and kind. She listens to me. She answers any questions that I might have, just comes up with anything that will help me, as she had in the past. And I appreciate her very, very much and would recommend her to anybody.

Noreen was phenomenal. She listened carefully and was incredibly helpful and kind. She seemed appropriately concerned about the issues I came in with and set about trying to resolve those issues asap. She also looked at my chart and noticed some bloodwork another doctor hadn't been concerned about that she wanted to investigate farther, and as soon as the bloodwork was back she prescribed me a medication that helped with some of my symptoms nearly immediately. She's a phenomenal, trustworthy provider who I am incredibly grateful is on my team.

The ability to get an appointment in a timely manner is terrible in this department The PA and staff are awesome excellent people. Very professional. Very overworked. They didn't say a word but you could feel the negative energy regarding the doctor. Southcoast needs more help in the gastro department before you lose more good people. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
