Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Ryback undertook several field research projects in Africa and Nepal that addressed HIV/AIDS awareness, tuberculosis treatment and controlling diarrheal diseases.

He is board certified in internal medicine.

Dr ryback was running a little behind. If i was late he might see me. However i had a 3pm appoitment was not brought in until 3:35 and waited another 15 min for dr ryback to come in. My time wirh him was great. But how long i waited was not.

The entire staff is excellent. The assistants at the front desk are always polite and friendly. The techs/ medical assistants are always pleasant and friendly as well. I always arrive 15 mins before my appt. Check in took 30 seconds. I was called in 7 mins before my appt and nurse [Name] conducted the pre-screening. [Name] was thorough, professional, courteous, and just super friendly. Dr Ryback walked in promptly at 2PM. He is always attentive to concerns and thorough in his exam. He genuinely seems to care about your wellbeing and provides excellent recommendations on how to best improve your health. He seems like a genuinely good guy.

Southcoast Health is wonderful. On 7/7 I requested to see my Doctor as I haven't been feeling well. The office called me on 7/8 in the morning and scheduled an appointment for today. My primary doctor was not in the office so they scheduled the appointment with another doctor. He was very pleasant and took the time to listen to me and answered my questions as does my primary doctor. All the staff are always pleasant and very helpful.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
