About Lotte Sherman

Lotte Sherman, PA-C earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. She then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS University in Worcester, MA.

Lotte’s clinical interest is in family medicine and women’s health. She chose primary care in order to establish relationships with patients and provide care throughout the different stages of their lives. Her personal philosophy of care is to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment when caring for her patients and their families. She enjoys being able to positively impact peoples’ lives and play an essential role in improving their health, and the overall health of the communities they live in.

When not at work, Lotte enjoys outdoor activities and traveling. In addition, Lotte won numerous awards as a Division I rower while studying for her undergraduate degree.

The whole appointment was great from start to finish. I called to schedule it after an urgent care visit. The scheduler wanted to get feedback from the nurse which was quickly resolved and the nurse was kind too. Lotte is not my normal PA yet treated me with such care and attentiveness. At no point did I feel rushed and Lotte took the time to review available options. Lotte made sure I understood the directions and was encouraging to follow up as needed.

I have nothing but 10 for the nurse that I had, nurse practitioner that I had. She was informative. She was, you know, anything I wanted to know, she had the answer to my question. She was very, very, I don't know how to say it, but I mean she spoke just the way she should. I mean the way I would expect it. She made me feel comfortable. She answered all my questions and I would give her a 10. I was very, very impressed. Thank you.

My experience was great. I did a MyChart and I got a call within a half an hour. They asked the provider if I could have a telehealth. I got another call in another half an hour and then I got the call from the provider and she was lovely the first time I met her and I am very happy. As always, I love going to see Dr. Bakower and his staff and his nurse practitioner is great too. Thank you.

Lotte is awesome. Everyone in the office is so nice to me. Lotte has a lot of knowledge. She took my situation seriously, giving me many options and explained how over-the-counter medicine and ice packs can help me get through this seriously painful next few weeks/months. She also told me what I can do and what I should not do. Lotte made sure I completely understood the seriousness of my situation. 12 hours after my appointment and I feel so much better. It also feels good to have someone like Lotte on my side...Lotte is awesome.
