Dr. Lashkari graduated from Williams College, Bachelor of Arts with Highest Honors, in 1981.In 1985 he received his Doctorate of Medicine from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
Dr. Lashkari completed his Internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center in 1986 as well as his Residency in Internal Medicine in 1988. He also completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Missouri, Eye Foundation of Kansas City in 1993.
He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Diplomat at the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Internal Medicine, and American Board of Ophthalmology.
He is a Member of American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, The Association for Research in Vision & Ophthalmology, Schepens International Society, International Society for Stem Cell Research, and American Society of Investigative Pathology.
He specializes in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous and diabetic eye care.
