About Joshua Stone
Dr. Joshua Stone earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. Prior to earning his medical degree, he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Dr. Stone completed his adult neurology residency followed by a fellowship in multiple sclerosis both at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital.
Dr. Stone is passionate about diagnosing and treating multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, MOG antibody related disease, and sarcoidosis among other neuroimmunological disorders. He also has interests in general neurology, particularly headache and stroke.
Dr. Stone’s philosophy of care is to provide accurate diagnoses by listening to and getting to know each of his patients as if they were family. In doing so, he strives to work together with his patients to develop an effective, timely, and personalized treatment plan to help get their lives back on track as quickly as possible.
Originally from the area, Dr. Stone enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, exploring the Narragansett Bay, skiing, traveling, and cooking.
