About James Watson
Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Watson earned his medical degree and master’s in public health at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. He will see patients at Truesdale Medical GI Associates, 1030 President Ave. in Fall River.
Dr. Watson completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, followed by a fellowship in advanced endoscopy at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
His fields of interest include therapeutic endoscopy, diagnosis and staging of hepato-biliary and gastric malignancy, inflammatory bowel disease, Barrett’s esophagus, and colon cancer screening.
His publications include the Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
