About Jaimie Cordeiro

Jaimie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School of Nursing in Dartmouth, MA. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan.

Jaimie says it is an honor and privilege that her job is to hear patients’ stories and lead them in the right direction as far as their health. It is not something she takes lightly and she is grateful that her job is to meet new people and change their lives for the better.

When not at work, Jaimie likes to read, exercise, spending time outdoors and hanging out with family and friends.

This specialist squeezed me into her busy schedule. She explained the procedure at each step. She discussed further options. She gave me a list of foods to avoid & best ones to improve my health. All the staff were friendly & helpful! I have a follow up in a few months to test my hearing as I have some concerns! She gave me 3 referrals to allergists for allergy testing. She reassured me that I am healthy with no ongoing infection. She prescribed a medication that I requested to improve my ongoing issues.

Found staff more interested in their issues and also saw some on their cell phones. There is no reason why someone who is suppose to be working be on their cell phones. Patients come first not their social discussions or being on the phone. I ran a medical office and never was on the phone for personal reasons. My patients came first.

I always arrive early for appts. I was taken immediately and finished before the time of my appt. Jaimie is wonderful. She is caring. It was a post op appt. She checked everything. Went over what to do until next appt. Assured me I had done everything correctly and continue as I am doing until next visit. Always asked if I was ok during the examination. She made sure I had my next appt scheduled.

The only thing which really is out of her hands is that I would have liked a sooner appointment to see the Dr. In Dartmouth. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
