Fatima Medeiros earned her Associates of Science degree in Nursing from Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA. She went on to further her expertise in the medical field by earning a Master of Science & Nursing degree and graduating magna cum laude from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her clinical interests include primary care for all age groups. She is fluent in English and Portuguese.
Fatima’s personal philosophy of care involves compassion, respect, and empathy for every patient in her care. She believes that communication and education is the key to effective healthcare, and strives to keep a holistic approach to health – caring for a patient’s physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and mental well-being. As a little girl, Fatima served as her mother’s translator for her doctor’s appointments. Her inspiration to work as a Nurse Practitioner came from her experiences with the medical team that cared for her mother. Even from a young age, Fatima has felt driven to make a difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, Fatima enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her family and friends. She also spends time volunteering at her local church as a Sunday school teacher, camp volunteer, and bible group member.
