My appointment was scheduled for 10 AM. The check in call was on time but the provider didn't actually call me until 11:40! I would have appreciated an interim call to let me know she was running late. Plus she didn't apologize for keeping me waiting

Erin Murray is an exceptional provider. She continues to make myself and others feel important and welcome. The only area that could be better is scheduling as is being on time. They are routinely nearly one hour behind!

46 minute wait time, too long. It was an early appointment and still I waited too long and was told doctor was behind. Then, the n.p. Didn't jlknow my history and that prolonged my visit. Total visit time, 1 hour, ten minutes, too long for a follow up.

I understand that doctors are very busy and maybe shorthanded at sometime but they also have to realize that the patient's time is valuable to, waiting for an hour for my appointment was ridiculous. They were too busy. I would've rescheduled my appointment.

very clean office and restroom! great,informative and kind staff. also knowledgeable. well equipped with disposable items and equipment. up to date equipment and pamphlets on procedures etc.

The provider was caring and supportive and listened to what I had to say . She also asked many questions about my care plan and how my health was being addressed by my overall medical care as well as what specific things she has recommended for my condition and we discussed to implement and follow. Each visit this is re-visited to make sure it is working well and tolerable .

Provider needs to listen more to what has worked for the patient in the past and be willing to try things that have been helpful and that would actually improve the patients quality of life. Providers only want to do surgery or injections instead of actually managing chronic pain.

I had a 9:00 appointement,was not seen till 9:35. Intake nurse & Erin were very through.Staff seemed exstremly busy & overworked.Southcoast needs to hire more medical personnel,treat those employed better! They are the core of Souhcoast

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.
Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.
How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
