About Erin Edwards

Erin Edwards earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Fitchburg State University. Erin furthered her knowledge and expertise by earning a Master of Science degree in Adult Health Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. 

Medicine has always been an important part of Erin’s life. As a child, Erin went through open heart surgery. The experience fostered her love of healthcare and has helped her to excel in the field of nursing. Erin believes that because she has been in their shoes, she is better able to connect with and care for her patients. She has always found enjoyment in being apart of her patients lives and being there for them in their time of need.

In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her son and daughter.

    The experience at this office is great. From the time I walk in and check in, the staff greet me with kindness. They remember who I am and always ask me how my family is doing. The nurses who bring me to a room are super nice and understand my sense of humor. They are also sympathetic to my needs as well, which means a lot. Erin is by far my FAVORITE provider that I have EVER had! She is understanding, caring, and most of all knows me! Erin is a huge asset to Southcoast Health and I would be heartbroken if she ever left! I can't overstate how much I think of Erin. She is an example of what a great provider can be and will go above and beyond for me!

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
