About Devin Bean

Devin Bean earned his Master of Medical Science from Tufts University School. Previously, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Animal Behavior and Evolution at Hampshire College. He has previously worked as a Physician Assistant Hospitalist at Falmouth Hospital, within General Surgery at South Shore Hospital, and at Cape Cod Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.

In his free time, he enjoys fishing, camping and dog training.

Yes, I saw Devin today and he was absolutely wonderful. He was training a new girl and I was very, very comfortable, very thankful that I did not need surgery and recommended PT, which they already called and I appreciate that. Everything was prompt and professional! Xrays were done at the office and read and discussed with me in a timely manner. I was then fitted with the proper boot and directions for use were demonstrated and explained. The office staff were friendly, doctor nice and knowledgeable. This was my first appointment with this facility. Devin greeted me, was very cordial and professional. He is an excellent listener and thoroughly addressed ALL my questions and concerns. He offered and thoroughly explained an immediate suggestion to alleviate inflammation, an additional suggestion in three months under ultrasound and if not successful, an MRI followed by shoulder replacement. The only thing that was bad,was checking in. I was told on the phone I could be billed for my visit, then when I got there it was a different story. I was uncomfortable how I was treated, cause I didn't have insurance, there were other people sitting waiting to be seen, who could hear the conversation.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Who receives the survey?

Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
