About Britt Sibson

Britt Sibson, FNP-BC earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Simmons College in Boston, MA. Previously, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies at Brown University, Providence, RI. Britt’s clinical interests include adolescent health and gynecology. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Prior to pursuing a career in nursing, Britt traveled around the world, leading study abroad programs for high school students. Britt has always loved meeting new people, listening to their stories and helping them in their times of need. Becoming a nurse practitioner combines her professional goals and personal interests. 

With a vested interest in the South Coast, she has returned home to care for the community that has supported her and her loved ones.

In her free time, Britt enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and listening to music.

She's a very caring individual and she listened to my issues and problems and really enjoyed the visit. I felt better when I left after seeing her. So, thank you to Britt Sibson.   • The NP Brit was very thorough and knowledgeable. However, she wants to see me back in 4 weeks and there are no appointments available. So now I have no appointment to return in 4 weeks…. Receptionist, though friendly are unable to make appointments due to the amount of people at this practice. Does worry if this practice is a good fit for me as I can never been seen in a timely manner.

  • SouthCoast Health, this Westport office, and Britt Doran Sibson in particular make every effort to keep healthcare personal & not intimidating, which in today's world of big business hospitals & the red tape of medicare & insurance seems increasingly difficult. Thank you for doing a great job.

  • My PCP recently left her practice in this office so I was skeptical at first about visiting a new Provider. Britt, NP carefully listened to my complaints, made me feel comfortable and came up with a plan. Excellent bedside manners!

  • My nurse practitioner gave me an outstanding annual physical. I was very pleased. We covered all the topics that were important to me and a complete review of my past year. I couldn't ask for any more. The only thing that disappoints me is when I set up my appointment for next year, the earliest appointment is more than 12 months, and I find that very hard to understand. I'm very disappointed by that. That's not the provider's problem. She was outstanding. But that disappoints me, that I cannot get in until 14 months. But that would be my only comment.

There are problems with all large providers but SouthCoast does well. I really feel lucky to get such good care from All the medical staff.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
