About Anna Somerto
Dr. Somerto earned her medical degree at the Turku Medical School at the University of Turku in Finland and completed a residency in neurology at University of California, Los Angeles. She also completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology / epilepsy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
She has special expertise and interest in the treatment of epilepsy and seizures in both adults and adolescents, along with general neurology, including testing for nerve and muscle disorders.
She is board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology (EEG and EMG testing) and sleep medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Epilepsy Society.
