Andrea Montanari, AGACNP-BC earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Worcester State University, Worcester, MA. Andrea furthered her knowledge and expertise by earning a Master of Science degree in Nursing, Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of Massachusetts, Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester, MA. Her clinical interests include Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery.
At a young age, Andrea had a passion for nurturing people and often volunteered at hospitals from the time she was in early high school. Through this volunteer work, Andrea developed a philosophy of care to treat her patients like they were her own family. This remains her philosophy today. Her passion was best put into action in 2016 when she volunteered with the American Red Cross to provide health services and disaster relief to many areas in South Carolina that were devastated by Hurricane Matthew.
Andrea is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Northeast Chapter, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with family, crafting and DIY projects, going to the beach, boating and traveling.
