About Sara Charnecki

Dr. Charnecki earned her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Alaska Family Practice Residency Program, Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. She comes to Southcoast Health from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she practiced as a Family Medicine Physician at the Alliance Urgent Care and Family Practice.

Her clinical interests include, women’s health, adolescent medicine, health maintenance, nutrition, and prevention.

Her personal interests include running, hiking, backpacking, camping, tennis, skiing, reading, quilting and traveling.

Hi. The telehealth call was very helpful. Only complaint was the timing. Very difficult to initially estimated at 230 in the afternoon and wasn't able to connect with the call until almost 4 o'clock. So there was a bit of waiting for the teleconference to take place. That was my only complaint.

Dr. C is great. Unfortunately, she is given only a half hour to see patients. That is not nearly enough for an annual exam. She tries her best to fit everything in but there is not enough time. She apologizes and it is not her fault. This needs to change so that people get the time they need and she is not concerned about running late.

I absolutely love Dr. Charnecki! I really felt like she took the time to listen to everything I had to say. I have a complex medical history and I really appreciate that I didn't feel rushed explaining it all as a first time patient. I rated that I wasn't seen in a timely manner, but I understand this provider really takes the time to do what she needs to do and I don't feel like my time was cheated at all. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
