About Jessica Inwood

Dr. Inwood is in practice at Southcoast Health Weight Management Center in Fall River and Wareham, where she specializes in Obesity Medicine. She is on the medical staff of Charlton Memorial Hospital. A 2004 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Dr. Inwood completed her residency at the Self Regional Healthcare/Montgomery Center for Family Medicine in Greenwood, S.C in 2007. Her special interests include non-surgical weight management, including prescription medications, personalized nutrition and exercise plans, behavior modification, and reversal and prevention of weight-related diseases. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Massachusetts Medical Society. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

I had another draw request from my PCP and have an appt there very soon, the phlebotomist had no problem providing the results to both Dr.s. This was such an extremely convenient service provided. Yes, upon entering the facility, it feels more like a warm family, not to sound goofy, but you feel more caring than most of the other South Coast offices, I'm sad to say. But it's just very comfortable, and Dr. Inwood is a stellar person, not to mention how amazing a doctor she is. So I can't put into words how grateful I am that she is a doctor available to me and to the South Coast system. So I can't really think of anything.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
