About Mark Desnoyers
Dr. Desnoyers came to the Southcoast region in 1989 to establish the first community hospital catheterization laboratory (“cath lab”) in Massachusetts. He has served as the director of St. Luke’s cath lab since its opening in 1991.
Dr. Desnoyers graduated as Valedictorian of his class from Dartmouth College before heading to Harvard Medical School to earn his medical degree. He completed an internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiology at New England Medical Center Hospital in Boston, where he also performed his cardiology fellowship and ultimately became a faculty member and associate director of the adult cardiac cath lab.
Dr. Desnoyers is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty board certification in cardiovascular disease.
