  • I don't think you could have improved my experience. I had a good experience. Those two people I talked to, they're very knowledgeable in the hearing department. That's about all I got to say. They treated me very well. That's about it.

  • I wouldn't change anything. Everyone was prompt, polite, and I didn't have to wait. It's always a good experience when I see Joshua Frias. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, and I feel comfortable seeing him. I am recommending him to a friend who is having a problem with her hearing.

  • Everyone was fabulous, from the receptionist, to PA Joshua. and Audiologist ! Clean, office, staff wore crispy white medical coats, the cleanest coats i've ever seen! My only suggestion is the lighting on the stairs from the entrance to the office upstairs. Yes, we can take the elevator, but sometimes i prefer stairs.. very very dim lighting, almost unsafe ! Thank you!

The one who takes my blood pressure was very nice and informative, and Dr. Joshua Fryas was awesome. He listened, he checked out my past procedures, and he made me appointments, and the checkout girls were just as nice. My experience was awesome.

  • Appt with provider was pretty thorough and provider expressed how he wants to keep an eye on my situation annually. Appt was scheduled for 8am. I arrived at 750am. I waited 10 minutes to be checked in and then another 33 minutes to be taken into room. My appt was 8am, not 830am. Appts should be made bearing in mind that there should be enough time alloted to each patient, so the next patient isn't waiting. The appt was first thing in the morning, not later in the afternoon. I think that could be improved upon

Friendly, attentive, thorough and demonstrated significant expertise.Dr. Frias was not rushed to get through the appointment. He made sure he addressed all of my questions and concerns and provided clear next steps. 10+!

  • Fantastic, fantastic facility and the doctors are so wonderful but it is very hard to get an appointment in a timely fashion because they are so busy and I respect that but it makes it hard as a patient when I really need care. Everyone in the office is so knowledgeable and helpful and kind and once I get an appointment, my ear pain is always taken care of because they know exactly how to handle it and I am so grateful.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
