DARTMOUTH, Mass. — Southcoast Health announced today that Michelle McKenney, DO, has joined Southcoast Physicians Group as a family medicine physician.

“My role as a physician is to provide patients with the information they need to take the best care of themselves. Together, we can make educated decisions and develop a plan that satisfy the health needs of that individual,” stated Dr. McKenney.

Dr. McKenney completed her undergraduate studies at Providence College before earning her medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. McKenney is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.

She has also provided clinical services on a medical mission in Guatemala, in addition to missions to establish clinics and administering healthcare and supplies to families and orphans in Ghana and Benin.
