NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Southcoast Health announced today that Michael Pepi, MD, has joined Southcoast Health as the Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Pepi completed his Medical Degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He then completed his residency for Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Conn.

He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence. Dr. Pepi has been published in the Journal of Gynecologic Surgery, and is currently a member of the Fellow American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Rhode Island Medical Societies.

Most recently, Dr. Pepi was the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket.
