FAIRHAVEN, Mass. — Southcoast Health announced today that George Turini, MD, urologist, has joined Southcoast Physicians Group. He will be seeing patients at 208 Mill Road in Fairhaven and 1601 South Main Street in Fall River.

Dr. Turini attended Brown University in Providence where he received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Ethics, his Masters of Science in Clinical and Translational Research and his Doctor of Medicine. He completed his internship in General Surgery, his residency in Urology, and his fellowship in Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital.

Dr. Turini is currently a clinical instructor in the department of surgery, division of urology, at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He is an active member of the American Medical Association, the National and New England Section of the American Urology Association and the Endourological Society.

He is a recipient of the Babette and Peter Stewart Prize awarded by Brown University. He regularly holds lectures for Brown University students on urology and other medical fields and interests.
