Recently, Atlantic Subaru of Bourne, Massachusetts visited the Southcoast Health Cancer Center to donate 80 blankets as part of their Subaru Loves to Care program in partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

“We wanted to keep the donation local and directly help those in our community,” says Caleb Weglarz, General Sales Manager at Atlantic Subaru. “Southcoast Health was the perfect choice, and we hope that this simple act can make a meaningful difference in someone’s journey with cancer.”

Packaged in heart-shaped carrying cases, the blankets can also be used as a pillow while patients are undergoing cancer treatment. The donations included handwritten messages of hope from the dealership’s employees and its customers. The messages were filled with words of strength and positivity, reminding our patients that they are not alone in their fight.

We are extremely thankful to Atlantic Subaru for their generous donation for our patients. These items will bring much-needed comfort and hope to many during their treatment journey.
