Are you or someone you know looking to volunteer in a community that is More than medicine? Join us Wednesday, September 25 from 9-11am in the St. Luke’s Hospital Campus White Home Living Room, 101 Page Street, New Bedford, MA to learn more about how you can get involved!

Each year, volunteers of all ages donate hours of service to Southcoast’s three hospitals, as well as Southcoast Health at Home, formerly known as the Southcoast Health Visiting Nurses Association (VNA). Our volunteers are an essential and appreciated part of the Southcoast team. There are a variety of ways to serve, and volunteering at Southcoast can be a rewarding and fun experience.

Volunteer roles include:

• Patient waiting area assistants
• Gift Shop attendants
• Greeters – Kiosk check-in
• Musical talent
• Pet therapy
• Reiki healers

Southcoast Health at Home volunteer roles include:

• Supportive care (hospice)
• Patient care
• Office volunteers
• Veterans’ offices

All Volunteers must be 16 or older and complete a minimum of 60 hours during a 6-month commitment.
