Harvest for Hope 2023

In October 2023, the Southcoast Health Ambassadors hosted the Harvest for Hope fundraising event at the Eagle Event Center in Fall River, MA. The goal of this event was to raise funds to purchase a new mammography machine for the Southcoast Health Breast Center. The efforts of the Ambassadors help to empower the lives of women in our community and to assist in preventing breast cancer. We are proud to announce that this event raised over $20,000 and will be enough to acquire the new mammography machine.

Dine to Donate

This event was held at Fays in New Bedford, Ma. Local restaurants take part in supporting Southcoast Health Ambassadors by donating a percentage of their daily profits to support specific causes.

Holiday Poinsettias

The holiday season saw our Ambassadors delivering poinsettias to every patient in the hospital.

Knitting for a Cause

An overwhelming support of knitting groups who knit beautiful items to support our New Beginning Basket Program.

Holiday Cards

Schools in the Southcoast area support our Cancer Center by giving cards to brighten our patient’s days around the holidays. Pictured here are Center School students in Mattapoisett who made Easter cards.

Oh Christmas Tree

Ambassadors partake in Christmas tree decorating at Besse Park, Wareham.

Christmas Carolers

The Ambassadors bring cheer to the patients and staff of all three hospitals with holiday Carolers.

Wine and Wreaths

The Ambassadors sipped wine while making beautiful wreaths for their doors this past holiday season.
