Saw Melanie for a sick visit. I have nothing to reference her with appointment was fine. Did not like being asked very personal questions when checking in at the front desk find those questions to be unnecessary and should be done behind closed doors with medical assistant and provider.

Every staff member I've encountered since becoming a patient at this office has been genuinely friendly and helpful whether it be in person or over the phone. You are never made to feel like a bother or rushed. That's just the customer service aspect of it. The doctors and no's I've seen have discussed diagnosis in layman's terms and are good at offering treatment options. Great staff, knowledgeable providers. Highly recommended!

I had reserved an urgent care visit. I called Southcoast in the morning. I was able to get an appointment immediately with a PA at my drs office. She was wonderful! I cancelled my urgent care and hopefully freed it up for someone to get care.

She was very good. She took the time to listen to me about my sinus infection. She asked me questions about the symptoms I was experiencing and prescribed medication.she called in my prescription at the end of the televisit and within ten minutes my prescription was ready for pickup. She explain how to take the medicine with food or crackers so it would not upset my stomach. Thank you.

Melanie, is just unexplainable. She makes you feel safe, heard and being thoughtful to ones self, cares, listens to you and not make you feel less than. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't stay and I've only had 1 tela health in the past but, today was impeccable upon leaving. Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings. Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.
Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.
Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.
How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
