She worked in Primary Care at Southcoast Health as a nurse practitioner prior to specializing in breast health. Working in Primary Care allowed her to see first-hand the impact and importance of preventative medicine and screenings. She chose to specialize in breast surgery to be able to advocate for her patients and be a guide for her patients through prevention, education and life-changing diagnoses.
