Erin Costa Noonan, DNP first graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Associate in Science degree in Nursing from Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA before graduating Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Erin then furthered her medical expertise, graduating with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Prior to becoming a DNP with Southcoast Neurosurgery, Erin had worked as a Registered Nurse on a surgical unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital and later within the medical and surgical intensive care units at St. Luke’s Hospital specializing within critical care. She has been a dedicated employee within the Southcoast organization since 2014.
Erin’s clinical interest is in Neurosurgery. Her personal philosophy of care is driven by empathy, compassion and an obligation to her hometown community. She strives to provide holistic and quality care to all patients that she has the privilege of caring for. Erin was inspired to become an Advanced Practice Practitioner by her continuous desire for life-long learning and her fascination with the constant advancements within medicine and surgery that provide the opportunity to improve patients’ lives.
When not at work, Erin enjoys spending time with her son, husband, family and friends. In addition, she enjoys hiking, yoga and playing basketball.
