He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at The George Washington University Hospital and his Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital.
Having always been interested in sciences, he was inspired to become a doctor after he got to see firsthand the connection a physician makes with a patient; the perfect alignment of scientific curiosity and service to others.
His philosophy of care centers on empathy, patience, and clear communication. He wants his patients to know they are more than a diagnosis or culmination of lab values or chest radiographs.
When not at work, Michael is an avid reader of science fiction. He loves gardening, landscaping, and DIY home improvement projects. He’s also known for bringing along a few board games on his weekend cabin escapes with friends.
